Spring is in full bloom in the city of Kaisou as it moves into April. The weather is warm and pleasant, while the plants are coming into full bloom. It's easy this month to find a day with ideal weather conditions to enjoy the outdoors, and at night you'll get to see the Spirit Vein be in hues of orange, gold and green with the Earth element into full effect.

May Senpai Notice You

Spring is in full bloom in the city. Everywhere you go, the flowers are blooming and the plants have come fully to live. The Earth element is only increasing the bloom, making the city look like it's coming straight out of a painting than real life with the amount of greenery this is. This is specially true with the tree blossoms. All over the city, there are cherry and apple trees in full blossom. Strangely, these flower blossoms is even happening on trees that normally wouldn't blossom, including the large tree that is now part of the university. Just about everywhere you walk on campus, you are greeted with the gentle rain of sakura petals, even though you're pretty sure that tree is NOT a cherry tree. But well, at least it makes for a nice aesthetic, you should try to enjoy it!

Eggies

With the springtime comes the Easter holiday, and this year Zodiac has a strong interest in investing in the holiday. As such, during the weekends this month they will be hosting easter egg hunts for all ages! Compete with your fellow adults to find chocolate eggs in Blue Fish Lake Park, or enter into the children's competition if you're looking for some easy prey. And who is running these weekend events? Why the Zodiac employees on the app, of course! Just don't make too much of a scene about working weekends, otherwise you might find yourself getting shoved in the bunny suit.

However, it's not just at the Zodiac egg hunts that one can find easter eggs. In fact throughout the city, there are going to be chocolate easter eggs left throughout the city. These eggs will appear anywhere around the city, even in spots you're not expecting to find an egg. How did a chocolate egg get into your living room cabinet? Who knows!

If you decide to eat these mysterious eggs.... there's a 50% chance that you'll be perfectly fine! But if you aren't part of that lucky fifty percent.... the next couple weeks are going to feel like you've run into a string of bad luck. Misfortune just seems to follow you wherever you go. On top of that, you'll be having some terrible nightmares each night, and you can't figure out why. And if that wasn't bad enough, you swear sometimes out of the corner of your eye... you'll spot a yellow rabbit in overalls. Most people can't seem to see this rabbit, only those who've eaten the unlucky eggs or are particularly unlucky in general --- but surely you're not losing it, right?

Danger Realm: Fade Rifts

Good news, the Eclipse labyrinths and Greed have seemed to move on, with no more reports of such gates appearing. Bad news, it seems a new kind of Horror has taken root outside the barrier. If you wander far enough outside the barrier, you'll occasional fine what looks like cracks in reality that glow an unsettling green color. No doubt, these look like tears in the Spirit Realm, and would be dangerous to leave unattended.

Senior members of the Order or someone with matching experience might recognize them as "Fade Rifts" - essentially a type of tear that is associated with a realm called "the Fade" which is full of special type of demon and terrible things. These Fade Rifts are caused by demons from that realm attempted to get into this realm. The best way to deal with them? Give the demon what they want, tear open the realm, and then kill the demon. After that, the magic energy released by the demon will be enough seal the tear up.

Be careful as you do this, as these demons -- while they can't venture too far from their Fade Rift- can be plenty dangerous. Most of them seem based off of various vices and sins. Ones like wraith and shade tend to be pretty easy to deal with, but there's always a chance you might be a hunkering sized Pride demon, which is a serious challenge to take down.

Once again, its not all bad though. In addition to saving the city from whatever the Fade has to offer, you'll find yourself some nice loot that gets left by the demons. This time, you'll find runes that can be applied to weapons to increase their strength, and [something something need to brainstorm]

OOC Notes

The dominant element this month is Earth! Anyone with an affinity to the Earth element will find themselves boosted throughout the month. This could mean a boost to their power, having more energy, feeling more inspired with creativity, having better luck on different attempts -- the boost can manifest in all sorts of different ways. By contrast, anyone with an affinity for Water will be experiencing the opposite. Perhaps their powers will be weaker, they have less energy, they're having a creative block or general worse luck - again it can manifest in all sorts of way and players are free to play with this mechanic as they'd like.
