Backtagging: I will do my best to backtag! I only drop a thread if I cannot think up a reply or I've completely lost memory of what is going on and context. But yes, I will do what I can to backtag.

Offensive subjects: For reasons I rather not get into, if there is an instance of characters getting drunk, I'd rather handwave it and not thread it out. Drunkeness tends to be triggery for me. I know, it's weird.

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Sure. You can read him. But considering he says practically everything that pops up in his mind why would you bother.
Revealing that character's future or intended fate in the games: He's from the latest canon point so this isn't an issue. But once KH3 comes out, we'll talk.
Warnings/disclaimers: If you have a big phobia of talking ducks, giant shoes, keys or hearts being eaten probably this is not the character for you.
Supernatural sensing of species/soul-reading/etc., as well as magical abilities: Power wise he's really nothing special. People might detect low to medium magical levels, mostly elemental and healing stuff. Really it's nothing special, especially compared to other keyblade wielders.
However the weird thing about him is...he might only read as half a person, since him and Roxas were split when they came here. And if that's not weird enough he's got multiple hearts/souls within him! Sora is definitely the one in the driver seat at all times, but he's still got bits of other people in him (I think right now it's3 2 and some computer data) that kinda make him up. You can thank crazy science for this.
Could this character theoretically tame a unicorn?: Yes. He is very much a virgin.

It should be noted that Sora is not as refined with his sensing when it comes to pure power levels or the exact amount of darkness in a person. However he is very astute on picking up on if someone is malevolent or has ill intent, even more so than the other main keybladers shown. There are a couple in canon that stump him on where they are morality wise (Joshua), but overall he's pretty spot on.

How Much Darkness Does Your Character Have?: ...I'm. Shit. 9? 9.5? 8.5? I'm not sure. He's been trying to improve lately but his efforts haven't been going well. UM. Going to the next question.
Alternatively is your character a good person, an evil scheming dickbag or somewhere in between?: Fuck good intentions, Christopher is an amoral shit and a coward. His heart is dominated by fear! He has killed a lot of people and he isn't even a little bit sorry about it. He's capricious and whimsical about violence, and sometimes, he has a near-tangible aura of bloodlust. DARKNESS. LOADS OF DARKNESS. SO MUCH DARKNESS GOING ON HERE.
But. When given actual free choice and a right to self-determination, Christopher chooses to stop killing people. He is a bad person, a coward, someone too broken to help others and too terrified to reach out for hope. But he is also kind to others. He's possibly one of the kindest people in his canon! He's very sympathetic to others, he is attentive and understanding to others' feelings, and if he can make someone feel better, he often will! He climbs in windows to bring people cake! He offers strangers umbrellas so they won't get wet! When his 'brother' Rail was being experimented on by their creator, Christopher used to take care of him after the experiments. He used to do anything he could to comfort Rail and help Rail survive their shared Hell.
Yet he still never tried to kill Huey or free Rail, because that would mean Christopher's death, and survival is everything. Christopher may be very kind and understanding, but he knows how to turn that off and be heartless and brutal instead, if that's what it takes to avoid becoming a failed test subject. He's too selfish and scared to be really good, and the fraction of happiness and good in him has been smashed down hard by trauma. Its recent efforts to sneak out and reassert itself are like a daisy trying to pop up from the snow: points for effort, but you're no Hun.
To sum up, pick your own fraction of goodness to tip him away from total darkness, but he's closer to a ten than a five. SORRY FOR RUINING ALL OF OUR CR.

How Much Darkness Does Your Character Have?: Probably like a...4? Somewhere around there. Satella isn't evil, she's on the good guy's side, but she has some HUGE trauma in her past and is motivated by revenge because of it.
Alternatively is your character a good person, an evil scheming dickbag or somewhere in between?: A good person overall, but violent and not afraid to get her hands dirty. She's had some dealings with the underworld in her work as a bounty hunter, and due to her trauma tends to be a bit of a loner and difficult to get along with. She's not unfriendly, but she can be self-centered and has a bunch of walls up so that people don't get too close. So...yeah.
Also, would you mind checking out Satella's permission post, too? She tends to be flirty with younger guys and since Sora's a little boyish I can see her flirting with him, but I try to get permission before I do so since she's an adult and it can be understandably squicky for some people.

How Much Darkness Does Your Character Have?: He's a Disney Villain. Disney Villains LAUGH at your silly 1-10 scales. So let's invent a Disney Villain scale:
1 - Saving the girl you love from a monster that kidnapped her.
5 - Taking over a kingdom and going crazy.
10 - Kidnapping a child for money.
15 - Kidnapping a child for her magical hair.
17 - Murdering your brother to take over the crown.
18 - Profit???
19 - Cursing a newborn baby to death because her parents didn't invite you to her birthday party.
20 - Making a coat out of puppies.
Facilier hits somewhere in the 18 mark. He's not evil enough to make a coat out of puppies (maybe?) or cursing babies (unless it's profitable) but he is more evil than simple fratricide.

How Much Darkness Does Your Character Have?: THIS IS A COMPLICATED ANSWER but it could be as low as 3 or as high as 10.
Alternatively is your character a good person, an evil scheming dickbag or somewhere in between?: On the light and dark dichotomy, Ruka naturally swings really really hard on the light end of the scale; if she were straight from canon, this would be as close to Disney Princess as you can get, as in her heart is so pure it literally repels evil.
Blah blah, trauma, loss have caused some tremors, but more importantly she's an empath who's taken in a lot of other people's darkness (we're talking 7 to solid 10 scale here), which she is sort of using as a buffer/shield to her real heart. She's basically a total coward that puts on a callous front because she's afraid of getting hurt, but often caves to do the right thing if she can't run away from it.
I suppose this means that if he's only passively registering her, she'll probably register as really really dark to him, but if he's able to distinguish the "foreign" darkness from her real heart, then she'll register on the lighter side.

Alternatively is your character a good person, an evil scheming dickbag or somewhere in between?: OKAY SO BASICALLY what happened is that his middle school class was cursed with a death curse brought down on that particular class in that particular school by a bunch of their dumbass senpai 25 years ago. After watching a bunch of his classmates and their family die and then watching their teacher commit suicide in front of them he basically snapped and tried to kill his best friend. Mostly because a dumbass senpai from the past said they could break the curse if they killed the hidden zombie among them that was causing the problem and he thought he could figure out the thing's identity. SO YES that kind of tipped him over onto the darker side of the spectrum though he really regrets it and would prefer never to do something like that ever again so it's like. IDK REALLY WHERE TO PLACE HIM.

More towards the good intentions but not earning Sora's trust thing, I think--Lightning's a soldier who has killed armies worth of people without looking back or thinking twice...though she is remorseful over it and it was in self defense, it still happened. She would also do it again to protect the people she cares about, and she was willing to destroy her world's government which would have ended in a lot of people dying, so...she's not all rainbows and sunshine, nor does she live up to her chosen nickname of "Light" very well. She means well, but there is a reason the saying goes "the road to hell is paved with good intentions."

How Much Darkness Does Your Character Have?: OKAY, REAL TALK. Gold is the DARK ONE. It doesn't matter if rainbows shot out his ass and he loves dogs (one of these is actually true), he pretty much oozes dark magic. So he goes to eleven on the darkness scale just by his sheer nature.
Alternatively is your character a good person, an evil scheming dickbag or somewhere in between?: Gold is a mostly well-intentioned douchebag who also thinks intent is meaningless, is well aware of how much of a monster he is, and pretty much makes the same mistakes over and over again, because he's a coward.
