KEYBLADE
MAGIC
Like most Keyblade Wielders, Sora is capable of using magic. Compared to other player characters in the series, Sora seems to be above average when it comes to overall magical power (though definitely weaker than Aqua and Mickey). His strongest elements are Light and possibly Air, but he can use fire, ice, thunder, gravity magic as well as status effect spells.
Currently his skillset is what it was in Kingdom Hearts II, since 3D was dreamworlds and...I doubt Exsilium will have many dream missions. He is capable of learning more if he practices/studies more:
- Thundaga: Hits enemy with bolts of lightning from the sky.
- Firaga: Surrounds himself with a ring of fire.
- Blizzaga: Shoots enemies with icicle projectiles.
- Magnega: Increases his gravitational pull so enemies are drawn close to him. Causes damage to any enemies, and smaller/weaker targets may be crushed to death.
- Reflega: Creates a shield around Sora that deflects attacks back at the enemy. Best for long range attacks.
- Curaga: Heals injuries! Sora can only heal injuries and only those that the human body could fix itself given time.
His magic power may change depending on his equipped keyblade or if he's in drive form. It should be noted he does not need a keyblade to perform magic.
DRIVE FORM
HEART STORAGE
Is Sora's really only innate and unique power. While it still hasn't been fully explained yet, Sora has the ability to safely store other people's hearts in his own body (which by hearts, we mean the special something that makes up a person's capability for emotions, memories and individuality) until it can be returned to its original owner. This has been used to prevent the permanent death of one character, and as a gambit to protect a Princess of Heart's heart from being taken.
However it seems to have the short term side effects of hallucinations, unexplainable (to Sora) mood swings, involuntary shared memories and chest pains if something causes the heart to stir. Long term heart storage seems to lead to influencing Sora's permanent personality and even his appearance. Welp.
Also so far the only method they got to getting the hearts out of him is killing him.
Yeah, and you thought the heart guy in Captain Planet had it bad.
